Artists & Mentors

  • Catherine Epps - Potter

Catherine Epps has been working with clay since 1979. The introduction to pottery began as a high school interest and has developed into a lifelong passion. Her studio, Many Moons Pottery, moved to Bowen Island in 2004. Catherine’s sense of form and colour, merging with functionality is one of her strongest assets. She enjoys sharing her love of working with clay with others through teaching and sharing studio space and offering her pottery at craft fairs and galleries.

  • Kelly Miller - Artist

Kelly Miller, born and raised on Bowen Island, has always found inspiration from the surrounding wildlife (including locals).

Having always been an artist Kelly has enjoyed learning to work with new mediums. When introduced to the world of tattooing by Betty B in 2012, she knew she had found her passion. After her apprenticeship with Betty B had finished, Kelly took on the tattoo business started by her mentor and made it her own.

Bowen Island Tattoo Shop was established November 2015, where Kelly has continued to work hard at giving each person the attention and care needed to create their very own tattoo.

Each client leaves with a memory that will last a lifetime.
